laa dee daaa
Tomorrow is Halloween and I'm pretty sure I have no fun plans. Whatever happened to the times when a neighborhood would get together and carve pumpkins and trick or treat until late into the night. I'm starting to wonder if the older we get the less Innocent fun we can have. I also wonder if that's because it isn't fun anymore or because we want to be above that kind of fun. We want to start having adult fun so badly that we don't realize that it isn't as fun as what we had when we were 6.
Playing with poetry part two
The moments engrained in my mind.
It is no longer back in time.
This machine has brought me back.
I stand still and watch myself crack.
I hope I can break free.
Stop watching the old me.
There are so many things I can do.
But this metal won’t let me move.
It is no longer back in time.
This machine has brought me back.
I stand still and watch myself crack.
I hope I can break free.
Stop watching the old me.
There are so many things I can do.
But this metal won’t let me move.

October 7th Blog
Yesterday my parents decided that our family didn't need cable television. They thought that it wasn't necessary to spend 500 dollars a year for entertainment. I strongly disagree. I confronted them and told them that I NEED cable television so that i can watch my favorite Disney channel shows. I also enjoy television time as a way to dissconect with the world and relax after a hard day of school AND work! However, none of my extremely compelling arguments worked and we are stuck without tv.
As a last resort I offered to pay out of my own pocket to get my beloved disney channel back, which in my opinion is an extremely fair argument, and once again that idea was turned down. My mom suggested that i should read instead of watching tv, claiming that it would improve my IQ, but for me reading is not relaxation, it is an emotional journey and often times more depressing than my own life. I decided that was a terrible argument and agree with myself.

Metaphore for Love
Love is like a baby because it has room to grow and develope. Also, the way it turns out ultimitly depends on the work you put into it.
Carl Sandburg
Under the Harvest Moon
Under the harvest moon,
When the soft silver
Drips shimmering
Over garden nights,
Death, the gray mocker,
Comes and whispers to you
As a beautiful friend
Who remembers.
Under the summer roses
When the flagrant crimson
Lurks in the dusk
Of the wild red leaves,
Love, with little hands
,Comes and touches you
With a thousand memories,
And asks youBeautiful, unanswerable questions.

This poem talks about how beautiful life is, because there are moments in life when you have the chance to reflect on everything. When you remember life you realize how much you love it and how exctting it is to figure out what's next.
Death is the metaphore of a beautiful friend. Love comes to you as memories touching your face. Unanswered questions is a metaphore for the life that is still left to live.
